Lauren has been sewing for over 50 years. She has had numerous employment opportunities to sew and exercise her craft. However, nothing has brought her more satisfaction than to open her own sewing school. At home, her craft room was always called "The Sewing Room". It was only fitting to name her sewing school after her happy place. She is very passionate about sewing and loves to share her knowledge with others.

Making costumes is one of her favorite crafts to make and Halloween has always been her favorite holiday. She has created numerous costumes for her two children, nieces, nephews, her husband and herself. She puts a lot of time and detail into her work and always comes up with the most creative costumes.

Lauren has also made custom dance costumes for the New England Dance Academy competition teams. She has also worked as one of the costumers for The Encore Repertory Company in Woonsocket, RI. Some of her greatest shows include, "The Producers", "The Little Mermaid" and "Shrek The Musical". She enjoys being able to express her creativity when creating costumes for any occasion.

Lauren is also a talented seamstress at a bridal shop in Attleboro, MA. She does bridal and prom alterations. She has even created custom accessories for her brides and their bridal party, including hair pieces, veils, and much more. She has also made multiple custom prom dresses for her daughter as well as custom additions to her wedding dress.

Lauren is excited to finally start her own sewing school and can't wait to share her talent with others.
