The pattern booklet required for the class is $45.00 and can be paid for on or before the first day of class.  Students are responsible for any fabrics and notions that are needed for their projects. They will also need their own basic sewing tools, list will be provided upon sign-up.

A monthly tuition is due at the beginning of each month.  There will be a 5% late fee charged if tuition is not paid by the second class of the month, if not paid by the third class 10% late fee will be added.  Sibling discounts are available.

Some children may not be ready to learn to sew. They may not be able to sit and concentrate for the entire class time. Parents or guardians will be notified immediately if their child is not ready to attend class. Learning to sew safely is very important!

THE SEWING ROOM will provide information about sewing supplies needed for projects, student progress and general information via handouts given out in class. It is the responsibility of the student / parent or guardian to read these communications and ask questions if there is any confusion regarding their content.

It is expected that the behavior of each student will be respectful and appropriate at all times, during class and any other events sponsored by THE SEWING ROOM. If a behavior problem occurs, the student will receive a warning and parents will be notified for younger students. If the behavior continues and cannot be resolved, the student will be asked to withdraw from class. No refunds of tuition will be made if a student is asked to withdraw from class.

SAFETY IS A PRIORITY FOR ALL STUDENTS IN CLASS.
