The Sewing Room's students can donate pillowcases, that will help these children and their families find comfort and hope as they undergo long hospital stays and difficult treatments. Your donation, no matter how big or small, helps The Sewing Room fulfill Ryan's Case For Smiles mission of helping kids feel better to heal better.

Materials needed to make ONE pillowcase:
Any colorful fabric with kid-friendly designs.  Please NO glitter or skulls.  Fabric must be 100% cotton.
- 1/3 yard of border fabric
- 3/4 yard of main pillowcase fabric
- Spool of thread that matches fabric

A Stitchin' Place To Sew!

​​​​​​The Sewing Room     welcomes students ages 8 years to 18. Here you will learn a skill that will serve you a lifetime. You will build your self-esteem, confidence, creativity and pride.

By using the "Kids Can Sew & Fashion Design" program, students will make numerous projects throughout the school year.

With one-on-one instruction students will learn basic sewing techniques to advance thorough the 5 skill levels of this craft.

* Students must be 8 years of age.

The Sewing Room encourages students to use their sewing talent to bring smiles to children through Ryan's Case For Smiles.  Students can make pillowcases to donate in class and/or help us fund a sewing day in a hospital or clinic.  Each year, thousands of children deal with life-threatening illnesses and the stressors that accompany them.

Sign Up Now to reserve your spot for the fall session!  There is a non-refundable deposit of $20 to hold your spot in class, and it will go towards first months tuition.

Fall 2022 Classes are forming NOW!!!

 Sewing class enrollment has begun for Fall 2024.

Classes will be starting September 3rd, through June 21st.

Evening and weekend classes are available.  
Class sizes are small only 4 students per class to ensure one on one instruction. Classes will be filled

on a first come first serve basis.  A non-refundable deposit of $30 will hold your spot and will go towards first months tuition.
